DON'T JUDGE A ROOF BY ITS MEMBRANE
NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING SERVICES:
Using non-destructive testing, RSI can identify and quantify areas of wet insulation in conventional roof systems. This information not observed with the naked eye provides feedback on the health of each roof. The most common methods used are infrared, nuclear and capacitance moisture surveys. These technologies can be used to determine if a roof qualifies for a recover versus a full replacement. Moisture surveys can find leaks or check for insulation condition prior to the purchase of a building. RSI can assist in determining the best approach for your asset.

UPLIFT TESTING:
Mitigating risk in existing roof assemblies, commissioning new roof assemblies or developing cost effective solutions to challenges may all be accomplished through various uplift testing. RSI uses negative pressure chambers to perform FM Global 1-52 field tests seen below, pull test machines to test various fasteners and bond testing apparatus to test adhesion.
ENGINEERING:
RSI has performed work in all lower 48 states, Canada and Latin America. Various geographies have unique needs requiring properly accredited individuals experienced in the specific location. Through our experience, a network of engineering, architectural and scientific specialists with proper disciplines has been developed. A Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam for example has seventeen (17) disciplines. Nuclear, Structural, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Civil and Environmental are competencies tested for and used by RSI at various times. RSI can assure you have the right professional discipline with proper experience for the location incorporated into the project.
